Want to Know the Secret to Ideal Client Attraction & Business Growth…..

Ready for it…

It’s P.O.S.I.T.I.O.N.I.N.G! (Yes, imagine a cheerleader screaming each letter!)

Ok, wait. Let’s ask the foundational question. Seema, what is positioning?

In the simplest form, it is how your business is being seen in the market in your prospect’s mind.

Why does this matter?

Let’s explore each one together and from your gut share in the comments where you are at.

#1 Is your business positioned as a generalist?

You may be thinking: If I am a generalist, I can serve anyone. I have enough expertise to help many people. Why limit the business? Why declare a niche/ expertise when I don't have to.

The public may be thinking: You look like everyone else. I don’t know why to choose you over someone else? I don’t know what makes you special and unique, so I am not willing to pay a premium for your work. I will look for the best price for the service.

#2 Is your business positioned as an expert?

You may be thinking: I have years of experience in what I do. I have created consistent results for my clients. I am ready to be known as an expert in what I do. You start to show up with thought leadership content, more on social, podcast, etc.

The public may be thinking: I am ready to invest in an expert. I need someone who has had experience in the problem that I / my business has and share their thoughts on how to get past it. I want someone experienced, reputable, and comes recommended. I will be willing to pay more for their expertise as they will get me there faster.

#3 Is your business positioned as a sherpa/ guide?

You may be thinking: You know your shit--now it’s time to own it! (Got to keep it real!) You have found a solution that your ideal client seeks and are selling a transformation, no longer features, and benefits of service. What you know is different and unique--and potentially “disruptive” compared to how others approach the issue that your ideal client has.

The public may be thinking: You are not for everyone. You are clear on whom you serve and how you serve them. If they were to come to you, they know the outcome they will receive, as you have shared the transformation versus trying to sell the features. You have consistent results with your clients and are being seen as a potential “guide” that they seek to solve their issues. They would be more willing to pay a premium for your services and are in the process of seeking you out.

Listen, I shared all of this with you to give you one reminder. If you are working on preparing your company for growth, it’s time to own your positioning.

Not only will you grow your business when you begin to position your business as an expert (that you are), but you will be serving more people that really are seeking you out and you can serve best! #winwin
